In 2014, Liupanshui was selected as a "China's Top 10 Most Promising Cities". Liupanshui has attached great importance to the development of Yeyuhai, Zangke River, Tuole Ancient Gingko, hillside grasslands, Longjiao Yuelianghe, Jiucaiping, and many other distinctive tourist attractions. Among which, the Yushe Forest Park has been accredited as a national AAAA level tourist attraction, and Ming Lake Wetland Park has been listed as the first national wetland park in Guizhou.
