In May 2013, Liupanshui reentered the list of "China's Top 10 Summer Resort Cities 2013" selected by the Asia-Pacific Environment Protection Association, China Institute of City Competitiveness and other institutions. Since 2005, Liupanshui has been listed in "China's Top 10 Summer Resort Cities" for many consecutive years.
